In terms of quality, I have nothing to complain about. Incredible finish, thick stitching, quality material. The only thing that disappointed me was the color: it's not a nice light color, it's not white, it's yellowish, a color as if it were old or had been exposed to the sun. This yellowish appearance doesn't seem to show up in the photos in the ad. Nor in other people's photos posted in favorable light. But I took photos that show a little of what I'm talking about. Maybe it would work for someone who has a beige sofa, maybe it would look good, but my sofa is white, it looked terrible.

This is NOT an 8 x 10. It actually measured 7.2 x 8.4.When we contacted Rug USA, they absolutely denied any assistance. Saud it was ordered through Amazon, so you get what you get.I recommend finding another rug company, one that would want to make it right for its customers.

Very luxurious rug but some considerations

Wool is perhaps one of nature's best fibers. It makes the best textiles. It feels sooooo good underfoot and worn as clothing. It also needs a little more care than polyester and synthetic blends.I spot cleaned this no problem when one of my cats decided to test out the new rug by puking on one of the corners. Terrible I know, but that is what old cats do. It is possible to remove stains of this nature using an enzymatic cleaner that breaks down the compounds that stain and leave an odor and the appropriate cleaner will also not damage the rug.Where I have issues with this rug is that it does shed and I have vacuumed it correctly a few times. I know with time this should diminish and that is my hope otherwise it will have to go in a very low-traffic area.THis rug also does not have any backing. While it's quite heavy, it will still need either a pad or backing.

Very soft, OMG soft. But, it sheds a lot

This is now the main rug in my living room. We have cold hard wood floors which look good but are hard to appreciate in the winter. This rug is a very soft beautiful addition to my living room, and I love the way the brown sections of the rug match up with the hardwood as well. I was initially very impressed with how cozy soft it was, and I think I figured out how. I have vacuumed this rug when first rolling it out, it filled the vacuum container with fluff. I emptied it, vacuumed again, refilled it again. Third time, it was less fluff. I was thinking, ok, finally I got it. I enjoy the rug for a couple more days and I start seeing fluff balls gathering up on the rug and adventuring around the room. I vacuum the rug and again fill the vacuum twice more with fluff. After a couple weeks of this, It's looking and feeling more like a rug of carpet than wool. It's very soft at first, but it's not secured to the rug and it wont last. I still like it, the carpet is soft, but it's not child safe because they could eat it, it sheds SO much.I guess technically I didn't follow the instructions. The listing says to vacuum without the beater bar, I ignored that. Still if it pulls out that easily it's not child safe and may not be pet safe depending on your pets habits. I want to love it, I just can't.
