Excellent rug pad for hardwood or LVP flooring

The felt and EVA rug pad from RUGPADUSA work very well with hardwood or LVP flooring. It grips the flooring well without staining or discoloring it. The top is made of felt and the bottom is made of EVA. It can be cut to size using regular scissors. If you need pads for multiple rugs, make sure to order a large enough rug pad that can be cut to accommodate all of your rugs. Although the rug pad grips the flooring very well, you'll need to use carpet tape to secure the rug on to the felt in order to prevent the rug from sliding off.

Good Pad

It's really hard to find rug pads for luxury vinyl flooring since there are multiple materials you're not supposed to use with it. These are made for vinyl flooring and I've bought several in different sizes. The cushioning is excellent but they aren't quite non-slip. They're non-slip enough that I don't have to worry about falling but my two 3x5 rugs have to be repositioned a bit every few days. My larger pads are anchored by beds so they stay put and overall I'm just grateful that RugpadUSA makes a vinyl friendly rug pad.

Perfect for LVP Floors

I was searching for a rug pad to protect my new lvp floors. The floor installer mentioned to be careful about the rugs and rug pads that we lay on the floors, as some could cause discoloration, particularly the rubber backed ones. I was relieved when I found this. The price is a little higher than I wanted to pay but the peace of mind was well worth it. Great quality. Not as thick as others but gives enough cushion under a thinner rug. If you have LVP flooring, do hesitate to buy this rug pad.

Safe for vinyl! Prevents discoloration!

I got new LVP flooring, and it is awesome! It is whitish with marbling, so one thing I was concerned about is preventing it from yellowing. Well lo and behold, in my research, I discovered that the chemical composition of rubber can break down with vinyl and cause yellowing. Yikes! I have several rugs down - in front of the door, doorwall, and sink, and they are all rubber backed. I found this rug pad, and I was able to easily cut it down to the size of my existing rugs to go underneath them and provide a barrier between the rubber and the floor. It is a nice thickness and it grips well. It is also safe for vinyl, so we should be protected from discoloration due to having rubber mats. So glad I found this!
