This roller shade works well and deals with blackout as well as privacy issues. It is smooth, going up and down. It fits very well covering the 72 inch glass insert in my door. It is a classic looking shade. Some would suggest it’s old-fashioned. However, if you need to have a more modern looking update, all you need is a nice valance to cover it at the top. It was very easy to install and very reasonably priced.

Really nice cordless roller shade.I like it really dark in living room when the sun comes around while I'm watching TV. I look forward to the summer months when I can keep the summer, hazy, hot sun out of that room. The cordless shade is made of great quality and the ease of installation was very easy. Very happy with this item.
This cordless roller shade offers complete blackout functionality and was remarkably straightforward to install. The components are of exceptional quality, and the shade is remarkably lightweight. Notably, the compartment housing the shade is slender and compact, eliminating any bulkiness. This feature is advantageous, as the shade can be installed either within the frame or an external mount.
Unfortunately this blind seems cheaply made to me. The blind material itself feels thin and flimsy, and I question how long it will last without tearing. I hope it proves me wrong though. Another thing I do not like is the plastic tube at the bottom of the shade. It doesn't really match the blind and stands out, in a bad way, which makes the blind look cheap. I've also seen roller blinds that work better. Overall, I think there are probably better blinds available in a similar price range.
I got this cordless roller shade to use on my metal backdoor. Obviously I was not able to use the full installation kit because I can’t screw into the door. I clicked the brackets into the track and attached very heavy duty magnets to hold them to the metal door. The shade is easy to roll up and down. I am impressed with the amount of light it blocks although that is not my reason for wanting it. I have always hated that the window in my back door let people look right in, especially at night when the light inside increases visibility from outside. I love the privacy it provides and that it is easy to roll up and enjoy sunshine during the day.
Four stars. I installed the BGBL cordless blackout shade (23 by 72) in a bedroom to get better sleep and it mostly delivered. The cordless spring system makes raising and lowering smooth and child-safe, and the fabric does block light and UV effectively. Installation was straightforward using the included brackets and the measurement guide, though the mounting hardware felt a little light and the roller mechanism housing seems slightly flimsy compared with higher-end models. For the price it is a very good value, noticeably less expensive than many blackout shades I looked at, so the small tradeoffs in feel are acceptable. Good fit andGood fit and function for bedrooms or home offices, but expect to handle it gently for long-term durability.
