Sturdy Useful Shelves

This shelf far exceeded my expectations. I was looking to replace a set of shelves and these measure the exact size of what I originally had. I was using them in my master bedroom.I really liked the black metal swirl shelf anchors. They are steady and easy to install. I did find that it is best to use a longer phillips head screw driver to give you more room to install them. I did notice there were some nicks on the black where metal was expose but nothing that can be touched up.For installation I did decide to use a different anchor than was given simply because I knew there was going to be some weight on the shelf. I did it more for personal reasons. Though what was supplied was sufficient for the size and weight it would be used for.I was really pleased with the color of the shelves. They are grey but also have some of a brown in it which was a perfect match for the furniture in my bedroom. They are definitely a good option and value and I would recommend them. Would consider them again for other needs through out my house.

Nice color and attractive black brackets

My handyman installed this shelf yesterday for me. The color and brackets are nice, but I gave 3 stars due to the quality and some sagging. I bought this shelf to put over my mantel to put my TV on. I have a 42 inch flat screen that may weight 10 pounds at the most as this shelf is meant to handle 40 lbs. My handman also used his own black screws he said that the ones provided felt to flimsy to him. Anyway, with the shelf only having much less than the allowed amount I would think that it would not be sagging. When I saw that I asked him if maybe the other shelf (because 2 came in the box) would be any better he said that more than likely not. I had not planned to use the second shelf originally but will definitely donate it to the charity store that i donate items to.
