My friend has this rug in a taupe. I was so impressed, I bought one for myself! The fabric of this rug is really soft and lux feeling. Love the pattern. Added 3/8 inch pad underneath to add a bit for cushion for my feet. Only thing is, I’d have to take this to an industrial size washer to wash - not totally “washable” in a traditional washing machine. Looks like it’d be easy to spot clean, though.
I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase! I searched for a while before deciding on this rug for my entryway. It came nicely packaged and I did not notice any smell or off-gassing at all! I laid it out for a about 24 hours before putting it in place. It was still not fully settled but I used carpet stickers to put it in place and that smoothed it right out!I am so surprised how amazingly soft this rug is considering how flat/low the pile is. I needed a very low pile because of the height of my door. The monochromatic color is really beautiful with the texture. It almost gives it a two-tone look. It is exactly as pictured, as far as the color. Cream/beige describes it perfectly. If you are looking for a white or slightly off white rug this would not be it but because of the texture it does give off a look of lighter and darker cream color.It will be getting a lot of traffic so I am interested to see how this does in the washing machine. I will say I am a little nervous to try it because of the backing and how bulky it will be in my washer. Check back because I will update this review once I give it the first wash!
This rug is so plush, right off the roll. In fact, one of my cats is afraid to walk on it; fortunately neither cat has shown any inclination to scratch it either. My family is so happy I finally allowed a soft rug back in the house. TBD how easy it is to keep clean (why yes, I ordered a large cream rug for my small, high traffic living room). I love a traditional patterned rug, but I was always afraid to order something with so many colors to have to match and afraid of making the space darker, so finding an interesting solid color rug was a boon!Update (2 weeks): having vacuumed the rug several times (robo and regular), I have not seen any shedding, the rug survived a dinner party with 15 children.
This rug is beautiful and exactly what it looks like in pictures. I have cats who always puke on my carpets and I can easily clean it off this rug completely with my little green machine without any staining. The only thing is that it is technically machine washable but has a more stiff backing than what is on most washable rugs which makes it only washable in laundry mat industrial type washers.
Soft and comfortable. No creases and ready to use. Washing might be a challenge - needs a 60lb machine and must hang to dry.
I bought this rug in the beige color, 8x10 size, because the company claims it is machine washable (but requires commercial laundry). Within less than 6 months of use in our living room, the rug has been stained from daily use. When I tried to take it to the commercial laundromat, they wouldn’t let me put it in the laundry because they claimed it was too big. Disappointed because this is clearly not a machine washable rug. The backing is too tough and rigid to be machine washable. Nice rug otherwise, but would not recommend the beige color if you want to be able to wash it. Picture of the rug is after we tried washing it with a rug doctor (stains did not come out well).
I wasn’t sure if I would like the texture but everything about the rug is great. It made our room cozier and nicer. The pad underneath makes it super soft.
