Stylish, Functional Area Rug That’s Almost Perfect

I recently got the Revival Rugs Nimbus 8’×10’ Zero-Shedding Area Rug (in Confetti / Mint Green), and it’s quickly become a key piece in my living room decor. The color scheme is soothing—mint tones with soft speckles—that ties together my neutral furniture without overpowering the space. From the moment it laid flat, it gave the room a cozy, polished feel.One of the major wins for me is the “zero-shedding” claim. Even after several weeks of use and repeated vacuuming, I haven’t noticed lint or fibers all over the floor, which is a huge relief. The low-pile profile makes vacuuming simple and smooth. The material also feels surprisingly soft, with a gentle texture that’s not scratchy on bare feet. Revival describes it as “soft as wool with a subtle silk-like sheen,” and I find that pretty accurate. Installation was easy enough, though I did use a thin rug pad underneath to help prevent slipping and to add a bit of cushion. The rug laid flat without stubborn creases, and the edges seem well bound, resisting fraying so far. The backing feels sturdy too, giving confidence that it won’t shift under foot traffic.That said, there are a couple of small drawbacks worth mentioning. In very bright light, the mint and confetti patterns can look a bit washed out — not as vivid as in listing photos. Also, while it’s easy to clean for everyday spills, set-in stains might need extra effort and spot treatment. And for homes with heavy traffic or pets, I might be cautious about long-term durability, though so far it’s held up nicely.Overall, I’d happily give this rug 4 out of 5 stars. It offers superb design, comfort, and convenience with minimal shedding, making it a strong choice for a living room or bedroom. With a bit of extra care for stains and high traffic, it could be a long-term favorite. If you value style and ease of maintenance, this is definitely one to consider.

Durable & Beautiful

I wasn’t sure of the color at first - not quite rust or terracotta - but after rolling it out, it’s perfect! No pile, highly durable and much higher quality than other washable rugs on the market - I love it and it warms up my space and gives life to my neutral room. It’s so freeing to not worry any longer about shoes and muddy paws! I do have a cushioned pad under it to add a bit more softness and slip resistance. Another great rug from Revival - highly recommend!

Stunning (but thin) rug

Cons:Cost- at the time I placed my order for this rug, the posted price was $500. I'm sure for many people, this price point would not be a hinderance. However, were this not a Vine item, I cannot say that I would have made this purchase. It is a very nice looking rug, but if I were to pay that much for a rug I would expect the padding to be thicker/or for it to come with some padding.Thickness: This is a low pile rug so I want to stress that my dissatisfaction is not to do with the height of the pile. But with the thickness of the rug overall. It is quite thin and unless you have a carpet pad underneath, you're going to still feel the hardness of the floor (which sounds crazy as I type that, but i don't know how else to put it).ProsAppearance: This rug is absolutely beautiful. It has that vintage, Turkish rug look but with a modern color pallet. It looks exactly as pictured and really does LOOK expensive (as it should based on the price point)Texture: it's so soft, feels like I'm walking on velvet. I will have to purchase a carpet pad to give some more cushion but the texture of the pile is perfect for me.Quality: ALMOST perfect. It is beautiful, looks expensive, seems like it will last a very long time with proper care. I just wish it were thicker. I'm very budget conscious so if I were to splurge on a rug like this, my expectation is a bit higher.Ideally, I would give this 4.5 stars, 4 stars seems too low, but 5 stars is just a bit too high based on the thinness.
