Can have different uses
Love it.I originally bought it to put on the floor so that my chair does not damage the laminate flooring much. Actually the floor is quite rugged and not especially prone to "chair caster damage" so when I received the floor runner I saw that it was the right dimensions as my small camp cot that I sleep on. I put the runner on the cot (see photos) and the runner acts as another layer on the cot so that when I then put an inflatable camp mat (or a closed-cell mat) on the runner I can feel more firmness when I lie down on the mattress . Also the runner is good to prevent stains or spills on the material of the camp cot just like putting protective plastic over furniture.One of the two photos attached was taken with a flash the other taken without flash. Since the floor runner is basically transparent ( a little cloudy) it may not be very visible as to how I utilized it here.I guess too , if you go camping outdoors, it would be good to put on the ground so you can then put your camp mat on top of it.But I liked the runner so much that I got another one that I could put on the floor so as to have my bicycle on top of it. This helps keep the wheels of the bike from staining the floors, and also when I clean the bike, the grease and oil and dirt can fall on the runner and then from there i can clean the runner. I live in a small apartment and don't have a garage or back yard.But this item is good. I love it. You may find other uses for it.Ont thing, I tried looking for different sizes of this kind of floor runner as far as width. The cot in the attached photos is of 25" in width. The floor runner is of 27" in width. It is slightly wider than the cot . It is good because the runner just rounds off at the ends of the cot. But these floor runners seem to have certain standard sizes (no matter the seller or brand) and I would have wanted one of these floor runners for a different cot I have that is 30" wide and about 75" long.The longer lengths are not so hard to find but as far as width, after 27" there seems to be only widths in the 40's such as 48* and longer.Nevertheless, again this is a good item. Serves its purpose and other purposes well.
