Not very sturdy

Protects the carpet, but it is not very thick. I use it for the edge of the living room carpet to reduce wear and tear as I work from home and often walk across it. But it doesn't stay in place and moves out of position and I have to fix it daily. I put it in storage when I have guests because it would be tactless.
