    They work, but not as well as real rattan sticks

    I ordered these reed diffuser sticks to try to bring back the fragrance from my essential oil diffuser like it was when it was new. I swapped out the original rattan sticks that it came with for these. They quickly absorbed the oil, but while I did notice a slight improvement of the scent in our bedroom, I do not think they work as well as the original reed sticks that came with the diffuser. One of the listing pictures mentions that they are made from polyester; I think real rattan sticks are more effective. You do get a lot of these for the price (good value), so I have increased the number of sticks in my diffuser, which has helped some. I have had mine in for about two weeks so far, and I assume these will last as long as normal reeds. They look pretty much the same as real rattan sticks at a distance, so that is not an issue. Once this box is gone, I'm planning to order some more real rattan sticks again.
