Very Strong Scent at First but Settles Down.

I live in a 120-year-old farmhouse. Over the years it’s had many occupants, and at least one of them was a smoker—though I suspect there were many who smoked like chimneys. 🚬💨 Even though we’ve painted and I keep the house spotless, every now and then I catch a whiff of cigarette smoke. It’s likely deeply embedded in the floors, walls, and ceiling tiles. It’s not constant—it just appears out of nowhere sometimes, almost like a stinky ghost. 👻On top of that, the house has been shut up for the winter and is starting to feel a bit stuffy. Add in two very sheddy dogs, and I decided it was time to up my air-freshener game.I had never used reed diffusers before, but when I saw this set, I didn’t hesitate to give it a try.It arrived safely with no leaking or spills, and it comes in an attractive box, which would make it suitable for gift-giving. Inside is a small jar of scented oil and six diffuser reeds. The instructions recommend dipping the reeds into the oil, flipping them over, and reinserting them so the oil can begin wicking up through the reeds.The first night, the scent was quite strong—strong enough that I had to move the diffuser to a back room. By the next day, the scent had either mellowed out or I had become accustomed to it. Interestingly, my husband hasn’t commented on it at all, so it must not be too offensive to him.The fragrance itself is fine. Scent preferences are very personal, and while this one is pleasant enough, it’s probably not something I would repurchase.The oil bottle isn’t particularly decorative, so I placed it inside a pretty fused-glass candle holder to dress it up a bit.This diffuser would work especially well in a space with strong or unpleasant odors, such as a commercial restroom. For typical home use, it may be a bit overpowering, but placing it in a less-used or more distant room helps keep the scent from overwhelming the main living areas.Overall, this is a high-quality product that does what it claims. The scent should last a long time, and I think it offers decent value for the price.

Very nice smell and sleek

This diffuser has a very sleek look to it. I’ve never seen one with black reeds. But it makes it look good in any space. I did not immediately rotate the reeds so the scent was not too strong. I do love the calming lavender scent. It’s the perfect size for a small space. So far it’s lasted for a pretty good amount of time. I think I will need to change it soon but I would recommend it.

Very nice scent but a little overpowering at first

I'm a big fan of reed diffusers as they look nice and the scent can last a long time. This one has a very nice lavender scent and you get a good amount. The price is good for the size and the blue bottle with the black reeds looks elegant. I placed this in my bedroom and the first night it was almost overpowering but by the 2nd or 3rd night the strong scent had faded a bit.
