I am an author. I got this to display a poster when I appear at book events. It folds flat and was easy to fit into a small carry-on bag. This easel easily held my 18" tall foam backed poster. The gold finish and lovely design complimented my display perfectly. It is sturdy, yet light weight. I've used it for a couple of events already and will continue to. A good value. Highly recommended.
I bought this to hold one of my books and it's been terrific. It's wide enough to hold my thick book. It's been sturdy and seems well put together. I haven't had any issues with it when I change the pages of my book and put it back in the holder.
This is a really nice piece. It doesn’t look cheap or cheesy - which it very easily could. I have my one of my daughter’s paintings on it and it looks really cool. Beautiful. Recommend.
It's very nice, it's very pretty, but the bar in the back is bare metal that can scratch the surface of where-ever you place it. I have another one that's similar from a different company that put a little plastic or rubber-ish cover on the end of that bar to protect the furniture.
I bought an 8 x 12 frame for a graduation photo. It was supposed to be able to sit on a table or desk. The part on the picture frame that is hinged in the back to allow it to stand was flimsy at best. I bought this stand for the photo. The picture frame is gold so I wasn't sure if the gold in the frame would clash with the gold in the stand. They look great together! I feel that the picture is much sturdier using this stand and the decoration on this stand gives it a very classy look. I'm happy with the purchase. I think I will have it for many, many years because it's sturdy and the look is classic.
I used it foir poster pictures It is very pretty but it's not as big nor sturdy as you would think it is for the price. If you pass by it real quick the wind from your body might blow it over
Liked the look of plate holder; however, it tends to collapse easily if moved a fraction.
