Superior rug pad!

The best rug pad I’ve ever used! I ordered this to go under a hand embroidered thin rug with a canvas backing. Because of this type of rug, it is very slippery on my floor. But this rug pad is exceptional and keeps the rug on the floor at all times. The pad is thick and stays put, both on the floor side with the raised dots and on the top side of the pad that touches my rug. I didn’t know if the top side would also stay put, but it does.I had to cut the pad to fit my odd sized rug. I used a utility knife to cut it - because the pad is thick, it took some effort but it was easy enough. I highly recommend this rug pad for slippery rugs!

Would buy again!

Have been using this for a few months now.It alls comfort underneath our thin rug. I did have to cut it to fit our rug as it is a little wider and longer than our 8x10 rug. I haven’t noticed any shedding.My only complaint is that the rug doesn’t stay on top of it exactly so I have to adjust the pad to align with the rug pretty often. BUT, Our rug has gray tones so it isn’t super noticeable.Would probably buy again. We have a toddler and baby so I needed something with padding to protect them and my daughter lays on it all the time.

An inexpensive rug pad

My first impression of this rug pad is good. It stays securely in place, and my rug doesn't move too much on top of it. The thickness seems good; at 3/16th of an inch, it's just under the 1/4" listed in the description. I'm using it on a hardwood floor and it provides good cushioning underfoot. I'm not sure how durable it will turn out to be -- i needed to cut it to size, and it cut very easily with household scissors. High quality rug pads are usually very difficult to cut without specialty carpet shears, so this is a bit of a red flag. It is among the lower priced rug pads, so I'm not expecting it to last decades, but hope it will hold up for a few years.

I know that under rug mats tend to run smaller than the actual product size, which I found infuriating while buying that typical thin anti slip stuff that looks like a bunch of tiny squares. Unlike those this product's dimensions are listed repeatedly as actually 3' by 5' and the reviews mentioned them being to size so I thought maybe I was goodNope. It's about an inch or two short on every side. Enough that under the thin children's play rug I have it's obvious there is an under mat and the corners still lift when you try to clean it. Everything the mat is under doesn't move at all! But the edges hovering awkwardly over the floor move plentyIt is still working at least, but my rating is reflective of not wanting to spend more money than I already have to purchase a size larger than I need to cut it apart to fit my rug
