I love orchids and have tried so many times over the past years to keep live ones going with no success. Sadly, I have found that I have no green thumb when it comes to these beautiful plants and so must go faux if I am ever to enjoy their beauty in my home. This set of six stems (3 in light and 3 in dark purple) arrived in a long cardboard box and each set of three was bundled in a floral wrap as though they were alive. Presentation for these alone is five stars as for a moment I had to remind myself that I had ordered faux and not real orchids. The stems and flowers are fantastic looking. To the trained eye there are certainly tells that these are not the real deal but a casual glance will have most fooled in my opinion. I love the speckled purple color of these and remember that one of my failed attempts had flowers very near to this. All flowers on the stems are fully bloomed and although I would have liked to have seen some buds interspersed here and there I will not deduct for an absolutely beautifully done floral stem. These would elevate the look of any room that they are put in. Whether these are given as a gift or bought for oneself these are a wonderful investment and will last for many years. Last is the price which is around $40 for the six stems. Normally this would be a bit pricey for faux orchids but I really feel that this company’s quality and appearance make the price worth it.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-As described. May have a minor problem. Good to great value.Four stars-As described but may have a more noticeable flaw or problem. Or, not as good as value.Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product.Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesn’t work for me but may for someone else.One star-Nope. RECOMMENDATION:Thumbs Up: These come pre-arranged in 2 bouquets and are good lookingTHE GOOD:1. The orchids come in two pre-done bouquets, so you could actually use these as gifts.2. The stems look good and the tops of the petals look good, but not the bottoms – see below.3. The flowers are a soft fabric-type material, and the stems look pretty real, with the exception of their bottoms.THE BAD:1. The top of the petals look pretty good, but the undersides are not printed at all, so a dead give-away.

Totally Gorgeous, Beautiful Quality, Commanding Presence

These orchid picks kinda' blew me away right out of the box. It did not take much effort and warmth to open and set the blossoms to their finest appearance. It takes a long minute to work out whether these picks are live or artificial. Even close up they look amazing and the inclination to feel the petals kicks but it doesn't help much because the petals feel quite realistic.These picks display a tremendous amount of large flower heads in various sizes. The color saturation and pattern perfectly compliments the realistic texture. Some of the petals have a bit more wave at the edges and other, younger blossoms, display the characteristic slightly turned under edges. The lip is very well done and appear velvety while the column and anther cap are well shaped and the point of the lip attachment.I did need to re-attach a couple of lips at one side using just a bare touch of glue along a toothpick, but I think traveling can be hard even on artificial blossoms. The length of the stem is wired, the blossom stems are not wired but can be manipulated a bit using heat and holding position until cooled. I like the color gradation and somewhat translucent finish of the blossom stems moving from a peachy-very-light-brown to barely touched with green camel-almost-white.These arrived in two attractive bundles in floral wrap of clear plastic which in part has the appearance of brown paper backing and half-section of the front and held together with a nice ribbon with cursive repeats of “loveyou” along the length. You could pretty much hand these as a gift right out of the box as they're not bent and densely packed.If you find these orchids appealing don't hesitate to bring them into your life. It's easy to make the same investment in a live orchid that offers a lot less show and cannot be enjoyed in an arrangement and reworked year after year.These belong in the bride's center piece, and would be a brilliant choice for a Mother's day (or any day!) arrangement. I intend to sink one into a single glass vase with a few glass globs at the bottom and finish with acrylic 'water' for my vanity.The superior quality, super easy maintenance and assurance that these picks will remain gorgeous for a good long while with the option to endlessly rework these picks makes them an excellent value.
