Why did you pick this product vs others?:I got a rug that has similar colors and j love  it so I thought I'd try these curtains with the same color pattern for 1 window and I love them!Fabric softness:They are so silky and even  have a bit of a matte sheen to them which makes them look more expensive and not cheap at all Look:Modern, color block, kind of deco-y, eye catching Privacy:Great - the outside part is black and I can't see they them at all Light blocking:Great really helped keep sun and light out and  cool down my room too even tho I put over just 1 window.  They are much more substantial than I imagined they'd be for the cost but I was wrong. Great value, quality, true blackout panels, grommet application

These curtains are amazing! Pros: TRUE blackout curtains, great lengths & width, slight sheen & silkiness texture ofthe fabric (definite high quality feeling), GROMMET application (makes it feel custom made and wonderfully easyto pull back/opening the curtains), the price is very reasonable/fair for the quality/custom made feel.Cons: deciding what pattern/color you want to purchase (which is wonderful)I had just ordered curtain panels from Bed, Bath & Beyond, which they advertised as 'black out' curtains'.The material was light, flimsy and 'light filtering' but not true blackout curtains. And they wanted $750 (even witha coupon added) for SINGLE panels (I had purchased eight)! What a rip-off. And the biggest/expensive hassle to return.My current panels are gorgeous and purchased at Pier One many years ago (so sad the stores closed) . I usually put them in the dryer on low heat for 15 mins/then a wrinkle release cycle/with a fabric softener sheet, to clean them and remove the dust (worked for years and very easy low maintenance, however, the lining has shredded on the panels. There is NO WAY I could replace the lining on each panel for $60 per panel, so new curtains were needed.On first glance, my husband didn't like the color/pattern choice. I only ordered one set to see how they worked out.Of course, he really likes them! I jumped the gun and found/chose a different pattern and ordered 4 sets (eight panels). I will compare the two styles and keep the one's that we favor the most. This set I will keep and hang in a bedroom. And the absolute BEST part is the value, DOUBLE GROMMET PANELS for $60 (53" w X 95" length which makes them UNDER $250 to replace on SIX windows (including a sliding door, huge picture windows and bay windows). I am definitely tempted to purchase two sets (of 8 panels) of different patterns/colors to have a set for the winter and another for the summer. AND two different sets, final cost would still be $250 LESS THAN the crap I ordered from Bed Bath & Beyond!! Don't forget how convenient Amazon returns are as well.This item did arrive a few days later then originally anticipated (I was afraid they wouldn't arrive), butthey arrived by the later date (by only two days). It was WORTH IT!! If you're on the fence about these panelsorder one set to 'try them out'...you'll really be surprised! Highly recommend.
