Follow the directions and let the rug relax as flat as possible. It's folded in a box for delivery and needs to be layed out to get rid of the creases. Other than that it's just a great rug and I'm very pleased with it. I'm going to get the next size up once I have the space for it.

Bought the 9x12 and the picture is exactly as shown. The rug is lightweight and soft. The color is gorgeous and goes well with my light Grey walls. The feel is velvety soft. Just keep in mind that it is a thin rug because it's washable in case you're looking for a plush rug, this ain't it. Also has a non-slip surface
It may have a wrinkle from pkg, but vacuum a few times and stretch it. I took my feet w tennis shoes on and would stretch it. I have furniture on both sides that helped keep the carpet in place. I'm happy w it. I thought it might be really thin, but it's not bad. I have animals that use the doggie door and hang out in the room, sometimes their feet aren't always clean. So, for as price, what u get I think it's a good value. If it gets to spoiled, for the price, i can afford to get another.
