Beautiful and really is washable. I bought it, because it said it is washable. I put it near the dog door to the back yard. It is the second rug. A smaller one is directly in front of the door to catch mud and dirt. This rug gets the rest and saves the room from having dirt all over. I wash it once a week. I've had it for several months already, and washing it hasn't started breaking the fabric or the backing down. I'll probably get 2 to 3 good years out of this rug. I will look for this company again when I need new rugs. It is also very soft and very pretty.
