They are just the right color and they should block the light, as well as keep this guest bedroom warm. The wrinkles were not easy to remove, I tried steaming them in my steam dryer, but ended up breaking out the iron. And I HATE ironing. Had to be very careful with the heat setting because they are 100% polyester but eventually after about an hour I was able to get almost all of the wrinkles out. Hopefully the remaining wrinkles will fall out. There was a bit of a smell, I’m sure that will go away as well. Overall, I am very pleased.

I like the white backing seen from the outside the house. (You cannot tell they are blackout curtains). No issues with blocking light, noise and they also help block the cold weather coming from the picture window and penetrating the room. I am happy with the material, texture, and color of these curtains. Carefully ironing the front of each curtain with low heat was worth the time. Good value for me.

Nice look after much steaming
First, the measurements are not accurate. The photos are from 4 panels (2 packs) on a 71" wide window. They are all over an inch shorter, and an inch less in width than advertised. I will be keeping them because the length issue won't show, but if you're considering these, just be aware. They look great but required a lot of steaming to get the creases out. I used a small clothing steamer. The backing definitely blocks light, and will provide some insulation. They do look like linen from a distance. I have bought window coverings from this company before, and there wasn't a problem with measurements before. Overall, I'm fairly satisfied.

I was pleasantly surprised how attractive and functional these curtains were for the price. They greatly darken a room that has southern exposure which keeps the room cooler as well. Yes they are creased and wrinkled out of the package after being compressed for so long. I did notice a small stain on one panel but decided to spray a little Shout on it and the stain literally disappeared. I then opted to throw them in fast wash and light tumble in dryer to remove some of the surface wrinkles. I used a steam iron to greatly reduce the deep creases from being packaged. They flattened out a good 90% and the rest will release after hanging in time. The fabric really has a linen-like texture appearance so I don't have to hide them behind curtain panels.
