These are nice curtains. I ordered 3 packs and used 5 panels for my design on 2 windows. (I ordered pleated curtains as well, but did not like the look so they were returned). The curtains are thick and have some weight to them in my opinion. I don’t think that they are too thick or heavy. I don’t plan on closing them so I cannot truly say how the “blackout” truly is, but based on the material and backing, I’m sure it works as you can see from the sides. The color grey is nice. They have black or dark grey specks. You have 3 ways to hang them. The back of the curtains are white which I wish was grey. The length “96” was perfect for my ceiling to floor look.
