Thick neutral curtains that do help darken a room!

These curtains are nice and thick with a darker backing which do assist in darkening a room fairly well. whether these will 100% block out light will depend on how you hang them. I hung them on a curtain rod that is not flush to the wall so light does come through. This is not a problem with these curtains though! These came folded and still hung up with no wrinkles because they are pretty thick. They are really soft to the touch though with a really nice pattern that will work with a lot of different decor. The size was true to size and were very easy to hang. Overall, good value for the money if you are looking for room darkening curtains to help with glare issues and thick enough to assist in blocking out sun and cold.

Emitted chemcial odor while in the dryer

These curtains DO provide 100% blackout. Aesthetically, they are only attractive on one side, unlike the blackout curtains found at C****o that look good on both sides. So I decided not to hang them in a street facing window as originally intended. The first photo shows the curtains before washing. The wrinkles did come out after washing, however a chemical odor infiltrated our indoor air quality while these were in the dryer. Even after washing, there is still a slight chemical odor. The second picture shows the curtains after washing. I hung them up in front of a closet, but it's unlikely I'll keep these beyond winter. This is an item you're better off purchasing from a local store so you can make sure you like how they look (and smell).

Quality blackout curtains at a good value

This pair of jacquard weaved blackout curtains look really great and do a nice job of blocking out the light. Each panel measures 55"W x 96"L as described in the item description. They’re not super thick, but they do have a lining that helps to insulate as well as block the light. I really like the grommets for hanging. They give the curtains a more modern look. It’s not loud where I have the curtains hanging, so I cannot speak to whether they help reduce noise. I washed them on cold in my front end washer and tumble dried on low. The washing and drying did a pretty good job of getting out the wrinkles. However, they probably could have benefited from some ironing on low, but I did not do that. I typically have these open since they’re in a spare bedroom, but if I often had them closed, I would get another pair to have a fuller folding effect. Overall, these do a nice job of blocking out light, look nice, and are a good value. I recommend them.

Fantastic Black Out!

I ordered these for the 2 windows in my bedroom. The blackout effect really makes a difference based on how you hang them, but the curtains themselves block out an insane amount of light. My photos don't even do it justice to show how dark it makes my room because my camera keeps auto-adjusting to brighten the image. I LOVE these curtains. They have made a huge improvement in my sleep since I work a later shift, I don't get up until mid-day. These curtains are made with thick, heavy fabric and they look beautiful and elegant, unlike most other black out brands. They are accurately sized, and if you're more concerned with darkness than looks, you can do 1 curtain per window like I did. They are worth the price! Truly, I will order more of these when I am ready to back out my office.
