Great price and gorgeous drapes. The overall construction and sewn quality was very good. They are a beautiful rich gold color and the velvet has a light sheen but does not look cheap. The velvet nap is smooth, unlike some advertised "velvet" that looks like old suede. I bought the 96" length and they hang perfectly, shipping wrinkles disappeared within the week. Light blocking is good, maybe 80% but if you need 100% darkness you may want to look at drapes specifically designed for that.

These are so perfect! Mine did not come wrinkled like I have seen with others, but I think steaming would fix that if you happen to have that issue. They are just what I wanted and as you can see by the first picture they are not 100% blackout curtains but the company does specify that they are blackout at about 70% which I definitely agree with!! Personally, they filter out as much light as I want it to, and still keeps the room dark on sunny days. 10/10! Also the velvet quality is great! Exactly as I had hoped

Light blocking but not blackout. I didn’t want blackout though so it works great for me.These are HEAVY once up. My window needed two sets (it’s 73” wide on the inside and I extended the wraparound rod 2” past this measurement (we don’t have trim around the window)).I chose simple and poorly reviewed wraparound curtains before I decided on these but I’m still happy with the look. I like my curtains to have at least double fullness and not spread straight across the window and since this is our bedroom and can be seen partially from the street we’re not using sheers behind them. Hence the need for a good amount of fullness. Also this window is North West facing so the sun that hits from this side is the sunset.Now the gold color is not like what’s in the picture. It does have a shimmery gleam to it but it’s definitely not true velvet. More of a microfiber softness. But don’t let that deter you. These are very well made. The slots on the back to hang them are spaced evenly and made from the same thick fabric as the curtains and stitched in very well.The color is warm, but it’s not orange or yellow. It’s a beautiful warm gold. It goes well with our deep blue walls and the wood trim in our room (which is a range of cherry, walnut, and rubber wood).I’d recommend these over and over again. I’m ordering two more sets for my other two bedroom walls. And I’ll probably order the champagne color for the living room but one set for each large window as those have white sheets. I’m just so please with the color, the drape, the weight, everything. They’re much lovelier in person!
