Got this to spice up my dog’s food and water stand. (His name is Grandpa.) He doesn’t seem to have an opinion on it one way or another, but he also can’t read, so...It is pretty small (5.5” x 2.5”), so just keep that in mind before ordering. Perfect and Important to me!!

I got this for my grandfather, a hard working old time but laid back kind of guy. He loved this immediately. It fit him perfectly. The paint and wood had lasted and the hollow back comes in handy. I wish it had a removable backing. After my grandfather passed away, I put some of his ashes in the back but had to use duct tape to keep the bag of ashes from falling out all the time.

This is a perfect gift for any Grandpa! I was looking for a gift for my daughter to give my dad for his upcoming birthday. She is very young, so he doesn't have a lot of "grandpa" items yet, but I'm quickly finding that many of them are pretty cheesy. I like this one because the colors are very neutral and it really fits with any decor. He can choose to display it wherever he likes in his house, because it isn't a big overwhelming sign. He has a few pictures of her and him together, as well as Grandma too, so I think it would look great with those photos.The piece is lightweight, but not so much that it feels cheap. The quality is actually better than I expected. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because I feel like the size just needs to just about an inch bigger. I didn't want something huge that would require a lot of shelf space, however, I think this could easily be "lost" on a shelf of picture frames.I plan to get a Grandma one too, in a similar style. I think that they would look great together and make a cute statement piece.
