For every educator's desk (and heart...)
For every educator's desk, right alongside "Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning." Don't these two "Primitives by Kathy" say it all?Updated Review/Comment/Response: For those who say this product is "low quality," is "an ugly open cheap wood," has "chips on the corners," or is only "a wooden block covered by a thin paper that rips easily," I would hope you are not an educator, a teacher. "A Teacher Takes A Hand..." is a hope, a plan, an objective, a mission that reaches way beyond the surface. It is a message to all of us who choose such an awesome profession that every day with a student is an opportunity like none other - to open their minds and hearts to dream and imagine and ultimately choose a profession that hopefully will be awesome for them. Hopefully our influence will enable out students to think critically, have an open mind, and become independent learners, but also to help them smooth out the rough edges as they mature, to be of good character (of remarkable quality), and become a welcome contributor to our society. For those who say this product is "low quality," please look beyond the surface, no different than how we look at our students. Look deep, long, hard and fast for we just might see where we once were. One of the nicest compliments I ever received was when one of my students introduced me to his mother and said, "Mom, this is my teacher." So, take a hand, open a mind, touch a heart and shape the future. Have a wonderful day.
