For the size, this candle really should have much better throw. Unfortunately, its cold throw and hot throw are very average even for a small candle, let alone a 72 oz, 4-wick candle. I had much higher expectations. Very underwhelmed by the strength/projection of this candle.

Expected more

- The jar is a beautiful black glass and is thick. But right on the front of the candle is the logo of the company. I knew this going in from photos; but I thought it would be printed on. Instead it is a slightly crooked sticker slapped on the front. The edges are raised and a little worn. It is the type of sticker you can't just peel off in one piece and will leave behind stickiness and paper. I haven't decided what to do about that yet so I'm just turning the candle around.- There is no lid for the candle and it comes with a sticky piece of plastic covering the top to protect it. Once I peeled the plastic off the entire top lip had sticky residue all over it. I have been doing my best to get it off but any cleaner I use streaks the glass of the jar.- The candle does smell very nice and the 3 wicks burn evenly.

Needs Improvements . . .

This candle came in a beautiful box suitable for gift-giving. However, this candle is a bit of a "hot mess." First, the wax is super soft, and the cover only keeps the candle inside the glass jar, but if the box is jostled during shipping, which it most likely will be, then the wax gets everywhere and needs to be wiped down from the inside of the glass. I would suggest a "lid" that sits down flush with the top of the candle to keep it from making that mess in the first place.Second, there were only two wicks visible upon opening. I flipped the candle upside down and noticed that there was, in fact, a third wick, but it was hanging out the bottom and I could not push it back through to the top, so this candle burned unevenly. Again, I think by having a better-designed "lid," this might not have happened.Overall, the scent of the candle is really nice (especially when lit). It has a sort of masculine smell to it. They describe it as "captures the essence of the Italian countryside in Tuscany, blending vibrant citrus with earthy spice. Scent notes of fresh orange, bergamot, rhubarb & nutmeg."The size of the candle is impressive, and the glass jar is impressive, but lacks a solid lid to cover it when not in use.For the asking price of $85.00, I would expect the manufacturer to fix these issues and then it might be worth the asking price. But, as it currently is designed, it needs some fine-tuning to be worth that price point.
