The throw is good on this candle. Not sure I'm a fan of the Doheny. It's competitive with other good brands I've tried so I might try another scent. It would be nice to get a votive set of the scents to determine your favorite before you purchase a large one.

This Preston Lane candle arrived impeccably packaged. It’s absolutely beautiful right out of the box and honestly giftable as is. You could just add a simple bow and be done. 🎁It has four wicks which you’ll need to trim before lighting. I trimmed mine to about 1/4 inch using a candle trimmer. The directions on the box recommend 1/8 inch and you could just use some scissors if you don't have the trimmer. The box also suggests burning it for only 3-4 hours at a time and keeping it out of direct sunlight so the wax doesn’t soften or melt prematurely.The scent is clean and refreshing. Scents are always hard to describe but this one feels like a soft mix of fruity and floral notes. It reminds me of a fresh spring day. It’s pleasant and inviting without being overpowering.This candle is definitely huge. I weighed it and it came in just under 8 pounds (7 lbs 13.9 oz) so it definitely makes a statement for sure. That’s something to consider when deciding where to place it in your home. The scent throws nicely throughout my house without being overpowering.Visually, the candle has a minimalist look that works with just about any decor. The ceramic container feels very well made and the candle itself is clearly good quality and burns as expected.Overall, this is an absolutely beautiful candle that will be enjoyed for many, many nights.

Not good value for money
After all the hype I wasn’t impressed. The candle looks really cheaply put together, and there was wax everywhere. I wrote to the company, but they didn’t respond.Just looks like any other cheap candle, but it wasn’t cheap!
