Beautiful!

So, this bouquet (I ordered the purple one) is interesting.The Seller states that these are actual dried flowers and I won't/can't contradict that. But whether they are or not, I can say that these do not resemble dried flowers, they resemble actual, living, breathing flowers!Whenever I've attempted to dry a flower the color changes - usually darkening. That isn't the case here. The orange flowers (are the sunflowers??) are exactly as pictured in the Seller's photos! Also, when I've attempted to dry flowers, they tend to curl a bit. The lavender rose is shaped exactly the way you would want a rose shaped!Now, again, not looking to contradict the Seller and assert that these are not actual dried flowers, but they have clearly been treated. The stems have been replaced with strong wire stems (probably a good thing!) that are made to resemble actual stems. And the flowers have glue applied - not visible unless you are looking for it - and, this too, is not necessarily a bad thing because it holds the leaves together.The Seller advertises a lifespan of three years. But, honestly, I don't know why they offer that limitation. Placed properly in the home I see no reason why these flowers cannot last for years and years.One thing -the entire bouquet is set into a styrofoam plug insert that is forced into the vase. I didn't want any of that. I added these flowers to my existing dried floral displays. But, removing the stems from the styrofoam plug (and removing the plug from the vase) was not very easy and care must be taken not to destroy the flowers!!If you've seen any of my other reviews you will know that I ratchet my rating to 4 stars (even when I may have assigned 5) because time will tell whether the product stands up to daily/occasional use. Its' September 2025 - I'll update my review if I have a negative experience. If no update appears, then the product has stood up to use.

Gorgeous Rose, but Gerbera Daisies Could Look Better

I love the idea of preserved flowers. I didn't even know it was a thing until I got these through the Vine program. So thank you! I probably couldn't be as objective if I had been able to get pink flowers, but since these were orange and purple, I can tell you the truth. The purple rose is beautiful. It's in near-perfect condition. But the Gerbera Daisies are kind of curled up in spots. The reason people like Gerbera Daisies (I assume) is because the petals are so perfect. But by the looks of my (and other reviewers') preserved daisies, I don't think daisies are an appropriate flower to preserve. The petals are too delicate and get damaged too easily. The little bit of hydrangea I can see looks good, and the other little bits of flowers look nice, but the daisy is the centerpiece and it has some mangled looking petals. So keep that in mind and maybe get preserved roses or hydrangeas instead.I didn't mind the smell. It smells like roses to me.
