I've seen these in photographs but never up close and personal. The rose is preserved flawlessly. It seems too perfect to actually be real.The presentation is a bit over the top. The small lights are illuminated when the drawer is pulled out. The small chain is nice touch with the heart shaped pendant that has a clear center glass like jewel. It does reflect light well and could also make for a good bracelet charm. Overall an ok gift idea if you're in a pinch.

Well put together and very pretty, but mine didn't come with the necklace.

This is a very nicely put together piece.The gift box itself open up to the right and left to reveal the rose in the acrylic box. The top of the box lifts off if you want to actually touch the rose. It's nice and soft, and has some greenery and baby's breath around it, and looks very close to the picture in the listing. Lifting the top of the display box off triggered the lights to come on, which I thought was odd until I realized that it wasn't the case that triggered, it was me bumping the box which jostled the little drawer that holds the necklace. The lights come on when you open the drawer a little. The LEDs are a good color temp and brightness - glaring at all.Unfortunately, I can't comment on the necklace because it was missing the from the package I received. The drawer that is supposed to hold the necklace is deep enough that it could hold earrings or simple rings, so it can still be useful, I'll just have to provide my own gift.Besides missing the necklace, this is actually a very cute gift to give somebody.
