This is absolutely beautiful, and the flowers will remain fresh looking for quite a long time. I took this photo after having this for five months, and it still looks as good as the day I got it.You can take off the dome, if you want to do a bit of cleaning (especially fingerprints). The flowers are arranged so there is a definite "front" side to them, but it does look pretty from any angle.You can also put in three AAA batteries and it will light up. I took the photo outside, so I didn't show that feature. However, it would be awesome as decor on a night stand, for example, where you want a bit of light. You do have to lift it up to turn it off and on, which maybe is not the most convenient.I think this is a great quality gift to give anyone, especially when you don't know what to give. It will fit in any home and with any decor, in my opinion.

Nice looking flowers, and all of them look good from up close. Lights aren't needed

This little glass dome filled with preserved flowers is pretty neat, and it does in fact look good both from across a room and up close.The flowers in it are all real, and preserved so they'll last years. Almost all the plants in it are real; in fact, I believe only the green leaves aren't, but even they look passable. The glass dome is sturdy enough to handle being picked up and prodded around, but you'll want this on a shelf or window sill to keep it safe. The little base is in fact wood, and the whole dome and base and all is quite lightweight, easy to put wherever you might want to keep it. The flowers look really nice and they're the main draw, but the other plants in it also look great as well, and it's arranged sensibly and doesn't look crowded in the glass. There's a battery compartment on the bottom for 3x AAA batteries, which let you turn on a couple sets of LED lights in the dome that look best in the dark but are fine in the light too.The only downsides I can find with this are minor. It's kind of pricey, but as this is purely meant for display, it's up to you whether it's worth the price or not. There's also the fact that the LED lights just seem unnecessary to me; I'm sure it's a personal preference thing, but I don't plan to use the lights any more. They're there if you like them, though, and easy to just not use if you don't.* I only review things that I personally use myself and keep using for a long time.* I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review.* I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product.* I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, and everything in between.* If I get multiple of something it's because I regularly use and need both of them.* And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.
