Well-preserved single rose. Box is...okay.

This is a well preserved single red rose packed in a gift box. It arrives with foam spacers that keep the flower positioned and protected in the box, and it's wrapped in decorative paper with a ribbon tied around the middle that says LOVE IS ETERNAL, making it a bit more suited for Valentine's gifting than other occasions. The color is a slightly more muted red than a fresh rose, but it's still quite attractive.The preservation has lasted several months at the time of writing, and based on my experience with other similar preserved flowers I expect this to last for quite a while. There is not an overpowering aroma, either of artificial scent or of preservative, which was a problem with the last preserved flower I reviewed.You can remove the flower from the paper and place it in a bud vase, and in fact I might actually recommend doing that for gifting because the box isn't really nice enough for you to want to display it inside that container. Just be careful - the stem may feel artificial because of the preservative that stiffens it, but it still has the original sharp thorns; one broke off in my finger and I had to remove the sliver with tweezers, so it does maintain that authenticity!I wish this came with a slightly better box and a more tasteful ribbon, but the base flower is nice and the price seems reasonable for what you get.

It has thrones and everything so you can definitely tell it’s real it doesn’t give a “fake” look in my opinion. You do have to be careful as it’s still a flower but it was preserved beautifully. The rose still looks perfect with all petals intact. It’s one single rose and is still the same size as a real one!
