QUALITY OF SMELLS FOR LESS
I bought incense many YEARS. My mom kind of ruined it - she used to burn vanilla incense morning, noon and night when I was growing up, and it was NAUSEATING. I tried again in the 90's, and nope. Just smelled like my house was on fire. I recently went to a farmer's market while I was visiting family, and I don't know what possessed me, but I purchased some incense from a vendor - and WOW. I just loved it, and I have become obsessed. LOL So I decided to give Amazon a try, and after reading lots of reviews and going through the available packs, I went with Self Love Club. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I can't decide which one is my favorite, but the important thing is there is not a bad one in the bunch! The one scent I thought I probably would end up giving away was the Urban Rose. I figured it would have that old lady perfume smell, but boy was I WRONG. It may actually be my fave out of the six. The scents are beautiful and don't have that undercurrent of "smoke" to them, and the scents are very natural smelling.If there's a con, it's that they are much shorter than the handmade ones I purchased from the farmer's market vendor, but these might actually be the average length. They burn about 40 min. or so (some people complain about the time, but I thought it was okay?) and the Urban Rose in particular lingers quite awhile after the incense is done, which is fab.Also, you get 120 sticks for the price - I mean WOW! I was spending more than that on a single B&BW candle, and now I can have beautiful scent for weeks for around the same price. I have been burning several per day, and these will still last me quite awhile. I can't wait to try out some of the other packs!! And I won't hesitate again because a scent sounds like something I wouldn't like (i.e. the aforementioned rose).
