I still didn’t know it when Positive Cat arrived yesterday. I admired him, how well he was made with all his neat rows of careful stitches, big yellow eyes looking at me, and inexplicable sprout on top of his head. His encouraging card made me smile. He’s just the right size to hold in my hand or tuck in the corner of a bag to take along if you need a little extra boost. Squishy enough to squeeze into the door handle of the car while I’m driving or tuck him in an unused cup holder for the ride. That little extra can make all the difference sometimes. The cutest, smooshiest, big-eyed little crochet cat
There are a lot of these little crochet "emotional support" creatures now on Amazon, but this one leapt out at me for the extra-adorable design. I was not disappointed! There is something so cute about the enormous eyes and the little pink ears, and it's made really well, so the details actually do show up on the real product. And the tiny sprout on the top! Eee! The darlingest! The saying on the card is really sweet, too.The price is similar to other like products on Amazon, so it's a fair deal. It's a little larger than you might expect if you haven't seen one of these in person before - but still small enough to sit on someone's desk unobtrusively. I had purchased it as "just-because" gift for one of my friends who loves black cats, but now I'm second-guessing myself. I kinda want to keep it! I might need to order a second one for my friend. ^_^

Very cute but wish the sign could be removed without leaving glue residue
The person I was gifting this to was disappointed that the sign it's holding doesn't come off. You can try to sort of peel it off, but then there is a ton of sticky hot glue on the cat, on the yarn. It's sad because otherwise, they really like it. IN the picture, you can see how much of the glue stuff is still on it, even after I managed to warm it gently and remove a couple of layers of it. The cat looks like it has a strange and kind of creepy "mouth". It was also sort of "stitched-in" to the crochet, which I would have thought was stable enough for people who wanted it, but easily removed if folks wanted to. Otherwise, it is SUPER cute, the colors are bright, the stitches are even with good tension, and it is filled with just enough stuffing fiber. It is filled and bit round, but not hard or too tight: it is flexible enough to kind of flatten the bottom so it will stay standing on your desk or computer screen frame.
