I like this butterfly especially the message of feeling appreciated and being appreciated dedicated it's inspirational like the colors and the softness. It's smaller than I thought and the wings don't stand out as much that's why I gave it three stars but it's cute and soft. Great message.

What a nice little thank-you gift for someone special.The butterfly is about 3 1/2 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches wide by 1 inch thick, and feels soft and sturdy, at least with gentle handling. It looks pretty on a table or mantel. This is also something that you could carry in your pocket or purse if you want a touchstone friend, and for more protection you can keep it in its own mesh bag that comes with it. That being said, while it's fine for gently squeezes and soft pulls, I'm not sure I would want to test rougher treatment such as what an older child might do, because the parts -- arms, antennae, and wings -- could potentially be pulled off. Also, it's important to note that this is NOT a toy for a baby or small child because glued eyes, while solidly in place, could potentially become a choking hazard.The butterfly has a bright smile and holds a prominent placard of appreciation that might bring a twinkle to your friend who receives it. The sign is made of heavy-duty paper that, again, looks like it will easily withstand gentle handing but you may not want to test it to the limits.Overall, this butterfly is a small gift but does not feel cheap. You could give this to a favorite teacher or a neighbor and be confident that you are giving them something nice. I'm thinking it might be an especially welcome gift for an older lady who might be feeling lonely and would appreciate a kind thought.

This adorable little bee was the perfect gift for one of the volunteers I work with. She always goes above and beyond to help out. She recently supported a native bee program. So this crocheted bee was such a fitting thank you gift. It comes in a drawstring mesh gift bag. The message is uplifting and a kind way to show appreciation. The volunteer is also learning to crochet so I thought she'd enjoy see the stitching. Inexpensive way to show gratitude and recognize someone's contributions.
