I feel a little guilty not giving a stellar review as others have, but I do feel this "rug" is a bit lacking, especially considering the advertised price (Thirtysomething dollars). I ordered the multi-color, and it really is cute. My grandchildren are about 3 and 1 1/2 and have not had a play rug like this before so I was pleased they were excited and right away started using it for imaginative play. The printing is nice and clear, no blurry areas at all, and all items seem spelled correctly and "make sense" (sometimes this is not the case with items manufactured in other countries). The reason it doesn't get more than three stars? It's not really a rug. It's very thin fabric on top with a no-skid backing. I would be VERY hesitant to put this in the washing machine even though it does say it's machine washable. The creases from it being folded, really won't be able to lay out since there is no weight/pile/heft to this rug. In fact, it's thin enough I have to keep my granddaughter from using it as a blanket (stiff blanket, but a blanket nonetheless). I did have a chance to look at these types of rugs at IKEA and for less money, I can get an actual rug that will lay down flat, so I think once the grands have worn this out (i expect in a few weeks), I'll be investing in something different.
