This product was made with good quality material however, the teeth and the bottom were not long enough to grab the carpet so they slid all over the place where I use them. If you use in a heavy traffic area by the ones with the longer teeth underneath that grab your carpet.
We bought two different brands of runners. This one and another. Our reason for needing the runners is because we previously had an elderly cat that marked under our bed about a year ago, and in several different spots. After many cleaning sessions, we don’t smell anything. But, we recently adopted a new kitten and wanted to ensure he couldn’t pick up any urine detection from the previous markings. I cut this runner to our bed size and placed it under the bed, grippy, spiky side up. So, when our kitty approaches it, he investigates and then moves away.There were other bedroom corners and behind our family room couch that she’d marked as well. For those areas, we placed this runner grippy, spiky side down and the new kitty has walked on it, but not detected any previous urine activity at all. Very pleased with this product. It cut very easily with a pair of regular scissors. I just measured what I needed and snipped. It is clear, so it doesn’t look tacky when you look at it. Both are very good quality and pretty much identical. They were well worth the money. Neither was too thin or too thick. They are both just heavy enough to lay down like you want them to.Side note: Although it lays down, you will want some double sided tape to keep the runner super flat and in place. For reference: We used the runner on carpeted areas only.I sure hope this review helps fellow cat owners because I didn’t know where to turn!!☺️
It covers rug well. The grips are not that long so it does not sink into the carpet well. I had to use carpet tape tape to help hold it into place.
Extremely thin. Moves around with every step, rolls up on its own. Easy to trip on :/

No, it did not. It would not stick to the carpet at all. The knobs are too small. They used to be a lot longer and even with stick on patches it’s still didn’t hold it down. It was very disappointed.
