I've actually had these for a year or more now and have gone back to but more for my other windows. I like the length and love the color. They are sheer enough to get light through but not so sheer that I feel like the house behind me is staring right in. I do have 4 panels up so they are scrunched up a bit as it were and thicker this way. I enjoy them, I've also washed them in gentle, dried on low with no problems. Good curtains for the price!
These curtains are so beautiful and are great quality! I love terracotta color. The vibrancy/boldness of these curtains are exactly what I was looking for. They are bold when the light comes through but then they are calm/warm when the sun isn’t shining through and when the evening comes. They allow a ton of light filtration if you keep them closed but allow some warmth of terracotta color while closed during the day too. These were so inexpensive compared to the $115 per panel that I loved and seen else where but I did not want to spend so much expense on one panel when I needed 10 panels! These are a perfect alternative and they elevate my living room/kitchen so much! Love love love!
After trying two colors from Pitalk (and several more from competitors at a range of price points), this self-confirmed fabric snob can present her winner for best sheers. The contest having to be held at all because I fell in love with linen grommet drapes and bought two sets, one set foiled in gold and the other in silver, but the base color of the two sets is the same, a linen-y beige that looks both yellow and pink in sunlight and can even have a slight touch of grey. Not too lofty a goal to find the right sheers, right?Enter the first Pitalk color up to bat, Silver. They were stunning! The way they've textured the fabric gives a sheen all its own, but not the kind you see on cheap drapes, I mean an actual sparkle. The texture is so nicely milled it's a joy to view, to view through, and to touch. The only problem with Silver was, it took the focus away from the silver foil and made the eye look at the sheers rather than the grommet drapes. I wanted to cry because I loved the sheers so much otherwise!Back on the merry-go-round I went, more BS colors and fabrics from elsewhere, before I started banging my head in frustration. At least had I managed to learn I wasn't looking for silver, gold, white, beige or linen. I returned to Pitalk and took another look around before zeroing in on Ivory. I had tried this color from other manufacturers before the Silver drapes, and they were not ivory, they were yellow, like buttercream frosting. Ewww. Yet another Ivory I'd tried wasn't ivory; it was just hard white. That didn't work either. But something about this Ivory intrigued me. I ordered up enough sets for both of the sliding doors and spent two sleepless nights agonizing about the color.When the drapes arrived, I knew in a second I'd finally nailed it. Finally! The right color! I already knew I adored the texture, and Ivory is no different in that department than Silver. I hung them with the silver foil drapes first, and it was immediately confirmed I had found my winner. The Ivory sheers look even better with the gold foil drapes!To be fair, though I may love them so much I'd rip your face off if you tried to take them away from me, these sheers are not perfectly constructed drapes; they have two peeves that annoy me and could be prevented. First and foremost, the length. It is not generous. If you hang these 84" drapes from the second pocket on a properly mounted rod for a sliding glass door, your door will be wearing floods. These sheers must hang from the top pocket to puddle nicely at the proper length at the bottom. I can easily live with that; it's just a cleaner look at the top, while the rod pocket ruffle sometimes looks like 1990 called and they want their drapes back. ;)My second preventable peeve is the laundry tag, usually sewn into the hem by most manufacturers. Not Pitalk; they sew it into the bottom seam of the top of the drapes. It couldn't be in a dumber spot, IMHO, but five minutes with a tiny and sharp pair of scissors fixed that! A non-preventable peeve-within-a-peeve goes to those stubborn cardboard creases, some of which don't fall out even after washing and hanging wet. A few mists with water while they're hanging usually takes care of that, though. Even straight out of the package, creased like a paper airplane, they are finer and hang better than any other sheer drape I've tried!If only Pitalk would add 2" to the length and move that darn tag or change it to an imprint like they do in clothing, these sheers really would be perfect in absolutely every way. As they are today, they were perfect for ME, and I'm so glad I found them. Thank you, Pitalk! :)
These curtains are sheer and look great in the guest room windows. The length is perfect and lightly brushes the ground. The light shines through when the blinds are open but provides enough coverage where people outside can’t see inside.These curtain seem durable and went up just fine. The seems on the end are even sheer. This is just what I’ve needed.We didn’t need to iron they were wrinkle free right out of the package.
Purchased these curtains in the yellow for my bathroom windows and they are very pretty they went up without any trouble one minor issue is you need to be very careful with these because you can put a pull in the fabric very easy it happened to me but I was able to stretch it out other than that they are sheer very pretty shade of yellow the pocket for the rod was large enough that I could leave the finials on the end of the rods when I put them up took me two minutes to do that I am going to steam the wrinkles out I recommend them
