Our son made a big change this year for the better, and we wanted to commemorate it. We added an inscription and had separated the year from the phrase with an asterisk. The asterisk is up so high that it looks really odd. There was no way to know that ahead. I would have left it out if I had known it would be at the top of the rest of the text. It’s okay though. The ornament is fairly good quality. It’s a bit delicate, but overall good.
This ornament was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a compass to add to our US Travel map in our RV. I ask many specialty stores to custom make this and they had all refused to make this because it would be to delicate. It is very delicate & the “S” was broke off when it arrived, but easily glued back on. It was a little more yellow then I needed so I also did some light sanding before staining & it’s perfect. Thanks for my second wonderful ornament from this company.
The ornament is fragile and the details show. However, the string was attached in the absolute thinnest part of the ornament and the N broke off. Would suggest maybe attaching to the back of the ornament and maybe a thicker area.
