Very easy install and truly 100% black out minus the edge

I ordered three shades for my bedroom, and one for my bathroom, and these shades are truly 100% black out other than the expected exposed edge. Although my longest roll, 96 inch, has a few little pinhole leaks, and a couple creases, I am overall satisfied with the quality, price and aesthetic of these rollers. I beefed up the anchors and screws, drilled pilot holes, and mounted the brackets to the top edge of the window, I had all these shades up in well under two hours, by myself, and I’m a girl : ) My window depth is 3 inches, so the brackets fit just right, however, the valance protrudes a half inch from the window, but that does not bother me at all, it looks great! I favor these particular valances, as they are squared, and wrapped in the same material as the shade, favored over a plastic plastic valance, competing with the look of a more expensive window treatment. I purchased a solar tape light and installed it behind the valance, then used 3M double-sided, tape to attach the solar panel behind the valance, looks very cool at night. I am an interior designer, and I approve!

Could not be any easier.I filled out the order form.I included accurate measurements.The shades arrived before the estimated delivery date.Well packaged. Box was beat up but zero damage to the shades.All Ineeded for install was a small ladder, tape measure, and a cordless screwdriver.Took me 1 hour from opening boxes to finish cleanup. They work amazing.Be prepared no light gets through the shade itself ,Yes it goes around the sides if that matters to you, you can install shade extensions. Mine are for privacy.Very easy up and down movement.

The shade that doesn't cover your window!

BEWARE:This shade only fits at the top where you install it but ……This manufacturer says they are not to cover your full window, meaning you will see a substantial amount of light through the sides not giving a clean professional look, as well as NOT being a black out shade!They let light through on both sides. This is a convenience for them so they don’t have to worry about it rolling up or getting stuck a cheaper way of doing it for them.The seller would not refund our money without US PAYING to ship back the blind and they made every excuse not to make it good or us to be happy. Mind you we just wanted it to fit correctly, we did not trust that they would actually say they received our blind back the shipping was almost as much as the blind, So, we lost a chunk of money!Usually Amazon would have made this good but they this company is a 3 rd party seller meaning Amazon doesn’t back them up. It’s sold and shipped by the manufacturer. Pick a different brand.

Beautiful shade, perfect fit, easy install

I am so happy with my shade! I needed it for my office which gets very intense sunlight every afternoon making it basically unusable for video calls because of the glare.My shade did come missing the parts and instructions, but I contacted the seller and they were very nice and responsive and quickly sent me what I needed. It took me about an hour or less to install these, and once I figured out exactly how to install them to my specific window style it was very smooth and straightforward. That said, I do have a lot of general hanging/drilling/random house project experience and it might have taken a less experienced person a bit more time and effort.Anyway, these are beautiful, totally block out the sun, and work perfectly. I had a young daughter too so I specifically wanted cordless for safety and that aspect of it works great. Highly recommend!

Nice but...

Shades are nice but have large gaps on either side. They also roll from the back and not the front which would be a better finish. Texture is beautiful. Hardware leaves much to be desired though it is extremely easy to install if it had heavier Duty Hardware like longer screws. All in all I bought my own screws and finished the work myself. Also worth noting that the shades do not have a light block strip on the top and you will most likely see like creeping through as very little windows and walls are perfectly straight
