Fit beautifully in my windows. Really great blackout and glides easily up and down. My BF installed them quickly. I recommend these. In the image with them down, I had my door open and light from the living room was pouring in. But they darken the room really nicely.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This fit the needs of our living room and kitchen. It was very easy to install, I did need a second person just to hold an end on the longer blind but I had these up in about 30 min. Functionality:Easy to clean and fluid to open/close. The light blocking is great. They fit very well and look seamless with the window inset.
High quality cellular blinds. I bought the blinds for my kitchen window. Blackout, dark grey on both sides. Just what I wanted. Plus: Pretty dark, and fairly easy installation.Negatives:1. The brackets provided could easily have been shorter, and the blinds would have been more effective sitting deeper in the window frame.2. The part provided to be a handle for the blinds was too tight a fit on the slot at the end, we simply couldn't slide it on.All in all I'm pretty satisfied, it's a good value for the price, and will darken our bedroom enormously.
We bought one to make sure we liked it then bought three more because they’re really nice. We now have four of the room darkening ones. The material really does block all light, even direct sunlight. These are very well made and operate smoothly. We checked the Persilux website to see if we could get them cheaper there, but the price was far higher than through Amazon. They come directly from China so it takes around 10 days to get them but it’s worth the wait, they’re well made and are very easy to install. Small metal clips screw into the top of the window frame and the cellular shade just snaps in place and can be removed just as easily. They are a vast improvement over our old roller shades.
I ordered a very large shade once and was happy with it so placed a second order for two more of them. They are all 3 over 7 feet long and wide, but with the second order, they only sent one pull down wand as a “gift“! Had it said that in the description I would have ordered them separately to receive the wand for all three. No, the description did not read that it was a free gift and I would only receive one with two shades!
