Fits around the trim as an outside mount PERFECTLY!! I was worried about the fit but it was so easy to install and looks great. I got the semi-light blocking version and it is perfect for diffusing the bright sunlight reflecting off of my neighbor's white house. The gray color was exactly as I would expect the color to look and it functions very well. It slides down where I wanted to and slides back up easily. The magnets to hold it in place at the bottom in case it's windy are awesome.

These are great for the price! The linen texture is so pretty. I ordered as temporary shades for just my bedroom but was impressed with the quality and ordered them for my whole house.
