This was my first time ordering anything from this brand. Glad I gave it a chance, as the candle I ordered (in "Cotton" scent) has been very nice addition to my home. The scent is pretty and it fills my large first floor with a light, fresh scent that isn't cloying or headache-inducing. I've been burning it a lot and it's still got lots of wax to burn. I think it would make as very nice gift as well.
This candle was shipped in its thin box inside a plastic Amazon bag. When I opened it, the glass was broken. Amazon replaced it and I was surprised it was shipped in a bag again. The second candle wasn’t broken but the box was banged up and torn. I have to wonder how often the candle shows up in a bag of broken glass.The candle itself smells amazing-a flowery citrus scent. It’s a beautiful candle and would make a great gift.
This candle scent is very soft, light, and clean smelling. I like how it makes my living room smell. It does burn very slow and lasts several days if burned daily. It is quite pricey, but compared to less expensive candles, it does last longer. What I especially like is it doesn't burn black smoke. I think anyone would enjoy the Panier des Sens brand of candles.
The scent of this candle is basically nonexistent. The box it came in was ripped and I’m surprised it didn’t break from no padding. The label is attractive and its burns as it should but there is literally no smell. Disappointed since I’ve used various products from this company with no issues but I cannot recommend.
This is a beautiful candle with a lovely neroli scent that fills the room without being overpowering. The presentation of the candle itself is elegant, and it looks just like the listing photos. I was very impressed with the fragrance and overall quality.The only reason I took one star off is because of the way it was shipped. It arrived in an envelope, and the candle’s box was completely demolished. I’m honestly amazed the candle itself wasn’t broken. Since the box is not particularly sturdy, I feel like items like this should be shipped in a protective box to preserve the presentation. Anyone planning to give this candle as a gift should be aware that the packaging may not arrive in perfect condition.That aside, the candle was thankfully intact, smells amazing, and I continue to love this brand’s products.It’s a high‑quality candle that I would definitely recommend and is worth the price.
I wish that I had gotten Fig Tree or Neroli because the Cotton Flower smells exactly like baby powder, and I really dislike the scent of baby powder with its clean.. powdery fragrance.The candle itself is high quality and very strongly scented. Even without lighting it, it filled my kitchen with the scent of baby powder, and I could smell it before I had even opened the envelope that it was shipped in. I touched a fingertip to the wax and my hand smelled of it for several hand washings. I'm afraid to light it because I don't want it to get even stronger.I like clean scents for my home, but this is giving me nursery vibes.The label and packaging are very pretty, and these would make great gifts.I'm giving this 5 stars because the quality and packaging is on point, so much that I would buy this candle in another scent (and I love both Fig and Neroli, do they'd be a better match for me). Cotton Flower is just not a fragrance that I personally enjoy.If you like the smell of baby powder, however, Cotton Flower is it.
This Fig Tree by the sea scented candle is fine, but not at all worth the current price of $35.90.I’m speaking specifically to the fig tree scent. My gripe with the fig tree scented candle is that the only discernable scent I smell is the wax of the candle itself, and I smell that only when I stick my nose directly into the candle. When the candle is burning, and after the candle burns, I detect no scent. I tested this on more than one occasion to make sure I wasn’t missing something. Usually, with a scented candle burned in the den, when I leave the room and come back in the morning, a lingering scent remains. There was nothing with this one.Another negative that would be applicable to all scents (most likely) is that the candle has an uneven burn pattern. In fairness, I burned for around 2 hours each time, and I see now on the Amazon page that the candle should be burned 3 to 4 hours each time to melt the wax evenly and avoid a hollow around the wick. You can see in the picture with my review what happens if you burn for 2 hours, so if you purchase the candle, I would take the 3 to 4 hour instructions seriously, as it might leave you with better results than I had. I wish I had saved the packaging to see if that instruction was included on or in the packaging of the candle itself, because I don’t recollect seeing it.What I do like is that the candle is very clean burning, with no black residue whatsoever left on the candle after burning it.Three stars because it’s an expensive candle with no scent. I did not deduct for the uneven burn, as that may have been because I burned the candle for only 2 hours each time.
