I love these match sticks. They are not matches, like a book of matches, more like a very quick incense stick. They are refused many times. You will need to relight after the first strike. I love to watch the smoke patterns. It is part of my wind down ritual.
Love the little match stick idea! Perfect size and so great for gift giving. Saw reviews saying it won't stay lit. After you blow out the flame it solders and releases the beautiful scent. Sometimes you need to relight it, that's what you do with Palo Santo wood. It's not a stick of powdered incense. The scent lingers long after too. Mostly I love the size because with bigger pieces of Palo Santo I always end up cutting it down to smaller pieces.
Got my box in of these Palo Santo incense matches and my wife and I are really enjoying them.The scent that they put out is somewhat sweet and very fresh, we light one after stressful days and they help us relax.Definitely recommend these, especially if you've never had the opportunity to smell a high resin density Palo Santo stick burn.
If I saw the size of these compared to a regular match I would not of ordered. They are so small. I can get 10x the size palo santo sticks to burn for the same amount I paid for these. You don’t even get that many.The box is cute and presentation, but come on!!!! Not worth the price. I won’t even try using them because I’d rather have my money back and buy bigger sticks that are the same effect and will last longer.
purchased these as a little novelty item alongside my other incense karma but I was surprised to find i honestly love these. they smell amazing. unfortunately with it being Palo Santo it can be difficult to get the whole thing to burn on one light, meaning you will probably still need a lighter, hurting the gimmick of it being its own fire source a little. it also seems to be a bit pricey for the amount you get, and it might be more cost-effective to just get normal Palo Santo sticks.overall though I do enjoy these matches. it would be nice to pick up a box every once in awhile, but if you find yourself going through them very quickly, it would most likely be cheaper to get them in another form. well I haven't used them for such yet I can see the appeal and convenience for their use when traveling.
Smells like a minty fireplace, in a good way. Not in a dirty sooty way. A but like minty sage.Also, the sticks are thin, compared to the usual way they come. I use mine in a closed window bedroom.In a high heat ceramic teapot filled wirh salt, for safety. Never blow on anything burning as it can blow small hot embers and start a fire(that's why they make candle snuffers). With that said, you have to blow the fire out to get the glowing ember wood, so please blow lightly and in a safe direction for example not towards behind your dresser or drapes.You will need to relight them several times so I recommend a butane torch.Just as a sidenote, if you have a safe setup, you can burn them on a small charcoal square. I wouldn't use a full size charcoal puck though as these are small pieces of Palo Santo.It's not the flame burn that you want, it's the hot glowing wood that gives off the most fragrant smoke.Good luck on your sensory and spiritual journeys. I don't know how much I invest in the latter but I do very much enjoy the smell, the way it makes my room smell after and it calms me down quite a bit.(This review was written by the person I gifted these to, in the spirit of transparency.)All the best from San Diego.
These are pretty small about 2-3 inches long. They smell pretty and light fine but staying lit is the issue I have. I’ve had better luck with others. I love the packaging but it’s inconvenient to use something that goes out so fast.
