Absolutely Beautiful!
I’d give this 10 stars if I could!I looked for so long for a Lady of Lourdes Statue that I connected with. I had such a hard time finding one to meet my requirements:Must be under 10” tall.Must have a peaceful, beautiful face.Must be beige/white with a blue sash.Must evoke love, peace & tranquility.Must be reasonably priced.I kept coming back to this statue.Her face is beautifully painted.She evokes peace and love.Her head is slightly bowed in prayer.I love how her toes peek out from under her garment. The roses are a beautiful touch.They give a pop of red to remind me of the blood of Christ.I love the positioning of her hands.It looks like she’s standing on rocks. I found this much nicer than a flat, wooden board that some manufacturers use.The painting of each section of this statue is done very well. The lines between the colors are clean. The colors are calming.The feeling of this statue is sturdy and weighty for its size. It doesn’t seem like it will tip easily.Of course care needs to be taken as I believe if it falls it will break.I am extremely happy with this seller and with my choice. She is absolutely beautiful!Just what my vision of Mary is!I highly recommend this seller and this statue.
