Very Nice Rugs BUT ...

the cleaning instruction are ridiculous, especially the part about "regular vacuuming (no brushes/rollers)"!! I'm not aware of any vacuum cleaners that don't have "brushes/rollers" and having to remove them is totally inconvenient at best. That said, I just vacuumed the two in my kitchen for the first time (without removing its brushes) with no ill effects that I can detect. These rugs add a nice decorative touch to my kitchen but they're there primarily to provide traction for my 3 Irish setters, 2 of whom are seniors who shouldn't have to try to navigate my slippery kitchen floor! As indicated these rugs have no pile height to speak of but that's fine with me ... I was looking for traction, not comfort. Last, but not least, these rugs don't budge despite the heavy foot traffic and that's a real plus to me! I deducted 1 star from my rating because of the questionable care instructions but the quality of these rugs seems quite fine.

Does not slide around!

Not only is this runner well made and with a very nice design and color, it does NOT slide around on our hardwood floor. There is a rubber backing and it stays put! This is exactly what we were looking for after refinishing all of our hardwood floors. My husband liked it so much, he suggested we get another for the living room! Excellent purchase.
