This smells so good! There's a lot of sticks in the box too so I appreciate the amount. It burns around 45-50 mins when lit properly (blow out the fire after it's been lit). The smoke can hang in the air so make sure the air moves in the room you're burning it.
When I first bought this I was expecting a traditional Mexican copal, this is definitely not that. When I received the box I was turned off by the scent. Instead of returning it I took a gamble and lit one and man am I glad I did. Don't get me wrong, this smells absolutely nothing like copal, however it is now one of my favorite incense. It is beautiful and floral and has a depth to it. The fragrance is natural and complex and lingers for the right amount of time. It also burns slow and the sticks are quite hefty. I noticed some other reviews complain that the incense go out but that is an indication of these being naturally made incense containing no charcoal or toxic sulfur and instead using upcycled flowers, natural resins, honey and oil. A bonus- this product empowers marginalized women hand rolling this incense in India. I've repurchased this product three times. I prefer the white copal to the dragon's blood personally. I will note the package says it contains 35% powdered white copal imported from Mexico, so it's not false advertising in that sense. Compared to the Japanese inscense I also buy, these are quite a good value for burn time and quantity. Namasté
UPDATED REVIEWI am changing this to five stars only because the seller reached out and explained the mixture of resins that created that smell. Though not to my liking, I appreciate that the seller explained and graciously offered a refund. Smell, I suppose, is subjective, so while I would not order this product again because of the seller's customer service I would definitely do business with them again.ORIGINAL REVIEWI decided to try a different brand than usual--bad idea. This smells NOTHING like agarwood. I own the essential oil and my other brand smells like it. But this? It has that heavy perfume-y scent found in cheap incense. For the price of this incense--it's the same as my regular brand--I am VERY displeased. I may as well have saved some money and gotten those sticks they sell at Walmart because that's what it smells like. I initiated a return but Amazon's policy is a hassle for me and means I'm probably stuck with them.
Smells so clean without the toxic charcoal. I love it! It has a strong aroma even before burning it. Highly recommended.
Nice Incense. They have a very Floral smell and light Sandalwood. I believe the floral smell comes from using Temple Flowers. One of the few Incense that list the complete ingredients. I am just disappointed of the floral smell which I was not expecting. I wanted a sandalwood incense which I remove one start, but these are nice. Just be aware of different smell
Smells great and few days after burning. Closest incense I’ve gotten to actual bakhoor.
These sticks really smell good, just like roses! When I first lit them if was fine, I lit them in an open area. But when I lit them in an enclosed area, trying to relax, meditate, it was only after I seen the smog all over the walls, ceiling, everywhere. I had to do a thorough cleaning to get the black smog/film layer off of everything. Literally, black was running down the walls...burning an incense has never done this to me, before. The sage incense from this company works just fine, no black smog or film after use. I am throwing these away because I inhaled this and that can't be good for the lungs or body.
