These curtain rod rings are the kind that open, are sturdy and work well.

We have installed curtain rods across entire walls so the ends butt up against the side walls, and so we can't actually take the rods down to install drapes (without taking the brackets out of the walls which we never want to do). But with these curtain rod rings that open, we can install the rings without taking down the curtain rods, and then clip the drapes to the rings. They work great & look good. Only thing that I don't like about them is that it's a bit hard to open up the rings to get them on the rods, sometimes I ask my husband to do it, as opening too many at once can make my old fingers sore. But the flip side of being a bit difficult to open is that once you have them clipped onto the rod, they are going to stay closed tight and not fall off the rod. I have bought these multiple times. Good product for my usage.

Really Good!

I have some of these that don't open, and soon realized I needed to add more to make the curtains hang the way I wanted them. I would have had to take down the curtains, undo the rod, etc. to add more, so I ordered these to fill the gap. I wish I would have gotten them in the first place. They matched the ones I previously purchased and do a great job. The tension is good on the clips, and they have no problem holding up our lined blackout curtains. I would gladly buy them again and would certainly recommend them to family and friends.

Good but I hope there’s better out there

It’s easy to use but hard to snap back in the place in a weird way and they fall off the hook quite easy, but the functionality is good and it does support well. I’m looking into a little bit of a better alternative than this one. The size is good for a normal curtain rod.
