Soft, elegant curtains with a beautiful color

These navy blue velvet curtains look beautiful in person. The color is rich and deep, and the velvet fabric gives them a very elegant appearance.The material feels soft and high quality, and the panels hang nicely once installed. These are much better quality than I was expecting and feel and look luxurious. The length worked well for taller windows, and they drape smoothly without looking stiff. They are a heavier than I was expecting too, but just makes them a more excellent quality.They also help block the light coming through the window and make the room feel more cozy and finished. These actually work well as blackout curtains as they are very thick.Overall, these curtains are well made and add a nice decorative touch to the space. I’m very happy with the quality and look. They are high quality and a great value. I'd definitely recommend these and consider getting more in different colors for the other windows.

Great quality, one minor, potentially major issue

This is a very nice curtain, it feels very nice in my hands, it's built with great quality materials, but the one thing that makes me feel iffy about the future of this curtain are the loops that the prop rod slide through. I took a photo of it and I personally have never seen curtains held up with these stringy things. These are placed every so many inches apart and 2 things I see wrong with this. I haven't mounted it yet, but while sliding the curtain rod through these, I'm certain I will be snagging threads on every single one, potentially breaking them, effectively making it weaker, unless I'm a lot more careful than I would be with installing curtains that have solid loops, or one length-wise tunnel. Secondly, over time with constant sliding open and closed, this would be more subject to premature wear, chiseling away at these threads until finally one of the loops completely fail and I have a curtain that hangs in one spot before it even looks like it needs to be replaced otherwise. Feels like planned obsolescence to me. However, I do recognize that having these thin loops should reduce drag and allow for a smoother glide to open and close the curtains. These curtains are thick, so I fully expect them to block out the light quite well.I know the majority of my comment is complaining about the loops, but realistically these curtains are very nice. If the loops never fail, you've got great curtains. I just thought I'd express my concerns since I can't speak for the actual future, just what I've observed. It was enough for me to drop it down to 4 stars because I don't trust it too much in the long run. But for the price, can I really complain that much?
