perfect bedroom window covering

These were easy to install and attractive but minimal with no extras like cords to distract so they don't really draw you attention which is exactly what I wanted. I have shallow windows so needed to mount externally so as per their instructions I added 4 inches to window measurements and they fit perfect - they keep room dark when I want it dark but rollup easily to let in light when desired. No complaints, and very happy with the value.

Proper shade thickness for room darkening

Absolutely love these shades. Material, quality and function are spot on. The top fit window perfect, wish shade matched that width, but still works well keeping our room dark. They shipped quickly together and we're easy to install. Love that all you do is gently lift the shade and it rolls up. Absolutely would purchase again. Be sure to measure each window, builders just don't care about matching measurements. I had to return 1st set which went smoothly. The price was outstanding compared to others I had considered.

Great blinds overall

The neighbor behind our house put up floodlights at the corners of their house and now leave them on all night. They point right at our house and our bedroom. They look great and help a lot. Sliding the blind to the point you want, let go, and it stays there is awesome. No playing games of pulling down just a little to let the catch release, nope, do it again, nope do it again, and now you are at the end of the blind. I know this is now pretty much a standard feature but this blind does it well. The blind material is thick and does block out light.The reason I gave the blinds a 4 star review instead of a 5 star is the mounts. The brackets employ springs for easy installation or taking down. That part is great, but it makes the mounts thick. The blinds end up being at least a half inch out from the wall. So, while the blind itself does a great job of blocking light, there is a ton of light that bleeds in around edges. We went with blinds that extend 1.5" past each side (window width + 3") of the window and there is still more light coming through than we want.The blinds are very good. If the manufacturer were to go with a flush mount, they would be fantastic.
