I loved the rug when I first received it. Beautiful, soft and fit my room perfectly. I waited to write a review like I do with anything I purchase. So it’s been 2 months and not wearing well. The rug has come unseamed in a few areas, and every time I vacuum it, the woven ends unravel and I spend a good hour tucking them back in or cutting them off. It probably won’t last a year and I won’t replace it with another one like it for those very reasons.
I was so looking forward to getting this rug. It took 2 weeks to arrive. I had not even opened it up fully when i noticed there was a gaping hole where the micro thin stitching had obviously torn or been cut. I contacted Amazon to get it returned and had a return date of 18 March. The logistics company came and picked it up on March 5th! I have since had to call Amazon TWICE! The people on the phone have been lovely, but similarly confused as to why my account did not update that they had picked it up although they confirmed that they have. In the meantime I have received alerts that they were coming to pick up something they have already picked up!! I now have to wait until March 24th to get a refund although THEY have the rug not me. The order was placed on February 21st. My comment is: buyer beware! The rug was obviously not great quality, but the returns process has left a sour taste in my mouth and I wish I had never ordered the thing. I have bought two other rugs from Amazon and they have both been great and hassle free so if you can choose another product not this one.
The rug looks fabulousI really like it. It looks just like the picHighly recommend this rug......After a week of having my rug down in my living room . My living room is only "Partially" put back into place. Ive received several complaints on how nice the rug ties everything together. The rug is great, the price is excellent, its a quality made rug.
Beautiful rug. Time will tell how long this will last and how it will endure two beagles. We have had this only for about two months now, and one of the things I noted is the seams which connect the natural fiber braids are very fragile. So depending on the size you get, be careful maneuvering this around otherwise you will rip the seams (which actually happened to us).
I really like the look that this rug gives my space. It does have some areas that are unraveling but because it’s made of natural fibers , I believe this is to be expected but hopefully it doesn’t get too bad. I figured this would be on the more difficult side to clean so adding a layered rug look was perfect. It was definitely softer than I expected. I would buy it again. Hopefully it wears well.
I like the look of this rug and thought the braided nature would make it tougher than other types of rugs. At least I was hoping it wouldn’t show wear as readily. Unfortunately, the thread used to tie the braids together doesn’t appear to be very durable. I’ve only had this rug for a few months and it has separations between the braids all over the place (see pictures). And they aren’t even isolated to the higher traffic areas, they’re all over (albeit there are definitely more in the high traffic areas). If you have pets or plan on putting this in a place where there is a lot of activity, I highly recommend looking for a different rug.Something that’s also annoying about this rug, and this might be my own fault for not doing research, but the Roomba REALLY does not like it. I thought I got this rug specifically because it looked very Roomba friendly, but it sheds threads and material all over the place. The threads get wrapped around the Roomba broom and then I have to cut them out.Something else to note, and this isn’t really a negative, just something to be aware of: when you first unroll the rug it smells very musty. This goes away in a few days, but definitely keep that in mind if you have allergies or are sensitive to smells.
The rug was of poor quality and questionable materials were weaved into it. The seams were uneven and the rug had areas that were misshaped. My wife's first comments were that it looked really cheap and to please return it.I sought a return authorization but for some reason I had to pay the $58.70 to mail it back even though their product was defective. I reached out to Amazon to get the vendor to pay for the freight and they were pretty much useless in getting this resolved. I will never again buy something like this through Amazon as the support was poor and the cost to return was excessive.
