Not as bright, very pretty and durable indeed

As others have said, the color is not as bright as the photograph. That said, this is a high quality, beautiful rug that we've had over six months now (and it has retained it's cleanliness and color). We vacuum a LOT as we have a somewhat well-behaved cat and a truly awful bird. We do find that the vacuum fills a fair amount with this rug, but it hasn't become less pretty or soft. It's a handmade rug made of wool, but there was no smell. Your cat will want to barf on this rug, it's that nice. But at three a.m., you know what to do: bolt from the bed, whisper shout NOT HERE, and gently body check them off the rug. Or blot and don't rub if you failed to secure the win (it does clean fairly easily with a little castile soap and patience). That is how our last Nuloom lasted 10 years before succumbing.

a unique, good quality wool rug

I was looking for a runner with a mid century vibe and am happy with this one. The colors are close to the product photo though the red in my rug is not as bright, which I like better. It feels very nice under bare feet and vacuums well. Didn't have an issue with it curling at the ends and not laying flat. No odd smell. I thought the price was reasonable for a wool rug and it adds a fun pop of pattern and color to our hallway. My only concern is if those tiny, wool eating moths would like it as much as I do. So far, so good.

Really great affordable purchase that was better than expected. Thick wool and made well. It’s a hooked rug so you have to be careful vacuuming with a powerful machine. It could unravel. I’ve had rugs like this before and you just need to be aware and use the correct tools for cleaning. Looks just like photos and description. Zero smell right out of the packaging. Wool sheds a bit and that’s normal.Worth it!

Great quality rug for the price

Exceptional quality for the price and size. Looks great in my hallway and matches my colorful house. It was wrapped securely in 3 forms of packaging so it arrived completely intact. Love it cool rug

Like others have mentioned, the off white parts are more like a muted yellow/dark tan (like the last photo I posted). Rug is heavy and thick but I still use a carpet pad to keep it from moving.I was worried about the shedding but decided to buy it because I loved the colors and design so much. And I think the way this rug is in woven in knot style, it does not shed like other wool rugs I've had from this brand. I have their wool rugs for my livingroom and dining room and the first few years they shed like crazy and now 10 years later, it doesn't shed as much but still pick up lots with the vacuum cleaner.NOTE: Take off the vacuum beater when vacuuming this rug so you don't damage it.Anyway if you're on the fence about it, don't be, just get it. It's great!(Oh yeah great rug for my cats too - they are able to run down the hall fast now because they can grip their little claws to it for traction ha ha.)

Great Rug, Great Quality

I love this rug! It came as pictured, colors are accurate, soft underfoot. It is a good quality rug. No smell. I live alone most of the time, no kiddos at home, so I have it in my guest bathroom. For the few showers that are taken in that room I think it will be fine. It does have a rubberized back to help keep it from slipping. I have a craftsman house, and this rug reminds me of Bauhaus textiles—a little edgy—so it is appropriate.
