BEAUTIFUL....quality rug

This rug is beautiful. I got it in a 9x12 size for my family room that opposes my kitchen. My bottom kitchen cabinets are black so I wanted to pick up that color in the room next to the kitchen. I was hesitant because it was so dark, I never bought a black rug, but WOW! This is really beautiful!! I have light color plank flooring and light walls so this is a really nice contrast to those colors. I got this for an AMAZING price too!! The only thing is that it will shed when opened, you have to vacuum alot, but once thats done it is really easy to clean. I have other jute rugs in my house that are tan, so this matches them so nicely too, the style. Just gorgeous, GET IT!

I received the 4ft round navy rug today. It came just as pictured and it’s in great condition. I was worried after I ordered seeing some reviews of rips/holes and odor. My rug came perfectly fine! It’s made well, especially for the price. It laid flat rather quickly even though it was rolled up very tightly. I’d definitely order more if needed. I’m using it under a small dining table and it’s the perfect thickness and seems like it’ll be functional in this space. It’s surprisingly soft on the feet. Would recommend for many types of spaces. Looks really good in my dining room.

Hole in rug after 1.5 months

It took awhile to receive this rug, but I knew that upon ordering & was willing to wait the 1-2 months. When the rug arrived, it had a large discoloration in the center of it. We decided to deal with it though because of the long wait & the rug was going under our dining table anyways. (The discoloration was not very noticeable once the table was placed on top of the rug.) Beyond the discoloration, I was pleased with the rug. The size was as expected and the texture (not soft, but felt very natural).After 1.5 months of having this rug, there is a hole in it due to the stitching coming undone. Absolutely unacceptable for the price & the added unexpected discoloration. So not only did this rug arrive not as pictured, but the quality is awful enough that it is falling apart after 1.5 months of use. I hope we just happened to receive a faulty rug, but I would not recommend anyone spending their money on this product.I’ve contacted the seller & will update this review based on our customer service experience.

I’m not sure what the bad reviews are about— maybe they got a dud, but I am so happy with the rugs I got! I got 2 different sizes. They both went down beautifully & look great. They aren’t rough & there isn’t any smells or mystery dirt in them. To keep them from sliding, I purchased a gripper for underneath them & they work great!UPDATES: It has been over a year and I can report the rugs are holding up well. HOWEVER, I did have dirt clumps (or what I hope are dirt clumps) upon closer inspection. I also find them hard to keep clean. We live in a rural area where the wind blows, so dirt is a real issue. I have gone against the recommendation of spot cleaning only and sprayed with soap, let sit, then power washed with a washer I have at home for pond cleaning. I hung them to dry in the hot sun last summer and they did fine. I wouldn't scrub them, but this seemed to help. I will likely be replacing them for something machine washable.

Okay for the price

I got a large 12’x18’ rug. The rug was lost in shipping but it did finally arrive. There was a hole in the plastic and the rug was split. Amazon worked out a deal with me and I kept the damage rug and will repair it. I had planned on opening the rug outside and letting the sun zap it but it was raining outside. When I laid the rug out it was slightly damp which I think is how they ship it. I put a fan on the rug to help dry it out. The rug is true to size and looks pretty good but does smell damp. The stitching thread holding the rug together IS NOT like the picture.

Rustic and "homemade"

These are not perfect rugs, so if you're looking for the master craftsman/machine made style you won't be happy. But they are exactly what I've been looking for. Super soft under bare feet, with all the lovely imperfections that make it look like maybe, just maybe, you've got a really crafty grandmother that made it for you. It brought a whole new level of cozy to my living room, and after a month it is holding up well. Easy to vacuum or spot-clean. Enough variety in the material that you could probably get away with a stain or two if needed.It does shed a bit when unpacked. Surprisingly little new carpet smell. Steaming the corners helped it settle in faster.
