Adhering to poly clay earrings a challenge

The flowers seem real, are very pretty and I didn't have a problem separating them. I wanted them for several pairs of poly clay earrings I am making for a group. However, they seemed to fade a little before my eyes in just regular light. I experimented with adhering with a white glue and water solution - they discolored. I tried my regular glaze on them, they discolored. I even tried liquid poly and found they don't bake well - turn brown (wasn't really surprised at that). I have some nail gel that I'm going to try, but am not really hopeful, as they seem to fade and turn brownish no matter what I try. A bit disappointed and will have to come up with a new idea if the nail gel doesn't work.

Though these were much smaller than I expected, they still worked perfectly for my project. Handling with a tweezer makes it easier and they hold up great with a small dot of hot glue on low temp.
